This jacket has performed exactly as I needed. It is a soft, pliable material that with a little layering, has allowed me to greatly extend my riding season and get out on the road instead of staying indoors. My only complaint is a lack of pockets/storage, as this jacket has none. It is nearly fully waterproof (best I can tell) and has taped seams and a water tight zipper. It is great for wet rides and good for an outer layer in cold/windy conditions. It is fully waterproof however so it doesn't breath very well. While it lacks a pocket this cuts down on material and I can actually stuff this jacket in the back of a jersey when the sky is grey. I imagine it would fit in an over-sized saddle bag easily too. I am 6'0", 165lbs, and the medium has a nice fitted feel for me with little excess fabric/bulk to flap in the wind. |
