The padding on the palm is comfortable and I have good dexterity in my fingers to work the brakes and shift levers. I have somewhat large hands and always order XXL gloves. This sizing normally works pretty well for me with bicycle gloves. Unfortunately the way the Gore Windstoppers are constructed results in shortened glove finger lengths and an uncomfortably tight fit around the palm and wrist. I tried these on for about 2 or 3 minutes and was convinced that my fingers would be tingling from lack of circulation within 10 or 20minutes of an actual ride.There is a different material used on the finger tips of the Windstopper Gloves. This different material I assume helps keep you finger tips warm and is likely effective at this. It basically wraps from around the bottom of the finger tips over the top of the finger tips. This wrap is subsequently stitched on the inner side of the gloves finger tips. The result is overly short finger lengths and a series of very stiff stitches on the interior of the finger tips.
