It packs up very tightly in the included bag (small at least for what most jackets would puff out to). It also is light relative to the protection it provides from the weather. The jacket has performed admirably in rainy and cold conditions. It has kept my dry and warm on all occasions of use. Add in arm leggings, and I've used this jacket down to the 40s (Fahrenheit).Furthermore, the jacket just looks *good* to boot, meaning that I carry it around even when I am not biking because on the rare occasion I get stuck outside in bad weather I can be comfortable, and not look like I'm committing a fashion faux pas. I know Lycra, spandex, and bright colors are entirely permissible regardless of shape or physical conditioning while biking, but those rules don't quite apply in pedestrian wear. It's a lightweight, packable, waterproof jacket that's designed with the minimalist in mind. It's great for competitive cycling and adequate for other purposes. I would not recommend it for cruising or mountain biking. There's very little to the jacket in terms of "features". It's pretty much a simple, waterproof shell with elastic cuffs and waist.
