Part of the problem is that I am between sizes. I am almost always a size 10; the M was snug across the bum and showed pocket lumps more than I liked, while the L was just a bit loose. I kept the large; it stretched a little with wearing and so now it really looks kind of frumpy. Still very versatile, and I'll wear it, but with less enthusiasm than I'd hoped.
